Husqvarna EPOS (Exact Positioning Operating System) is a breakthrough technology for a new series of Husqvarna Automower® robotic lawn mowers. The satellite-based technology enables the mowers to work within virtual boundaries. This makes it an easy installation, and a very flexible solution. Perfect for football pitches, golf courses, city parks, company real estates – and all other places that deal with changing circumstances and needs. Also, the absence of physical boundary wires means problem-free aerating, scarifying and turf repair. Crossing concrete driveways and paths are no longer a hurdle for the next generation of Husqvarna Automowers.
Husqvarna EPOS™ utilizes RTK (Real-Time Kinematic) positioning, a satellite navigation technique that provides centimeter-level accuracy in seconds. And, without physical boundaries, you can easily create multiple work areas with different settings or change them completely as your needs evolve. All you need is your smartphone and the Automower® Connect app.
Reference station is required for operation. This unit makes corrections for accuracy in GNSS Satellites and in real time sends that information to the mower. Needs to be mounted so the mower can work within 500m range. Requires full sky view for Satellite communication.
These mowers can drive where you direct it along transport paths to up to 20 remote starting areas. Once there it will operate within the boundary you created at whatever time of day and what height of cutting you choose. WE CAN DO IT FOR YOU:
We have a commercial grade cable laying machine, that makes the once off task of installing the boundary cable a straight forward job. A small scar is left on the lawn for a week or two, but then the cable is buried out of harm's way and forgotten about.
Charged out at $125 an hour - as a rough guide, all installations we have undertaken so far have ranged from 1 hour to 6 hours.
Cable is charged by the metre, as are connectors and joiners as required.
